Rincón de la Victoria is a lively beach town only 15 minutes east of Málaga city. A long promenade runs along wide sandy beaches from La Cala del Moral to Torre de Benagalbón, lined with chiringuitos where the local speciality – fried anchovies, “boquerones victorianos” – is served all year. Most residents are Spanish, which gives the town a genuine, relaxed everyday life.
