Why people love Fuengirola

Fuengirola is one of the most popular places to live on the Costa del Sol – and with good reason. The town has a long, flat promenade with sandy beaches, shops and restaurants open all year, and the train runs straight from Málaga airport to the town centre. No other place on the coast has as large a Scandinavian community.

Here you can live without a car: supermarkets, doctors, the Saturday market and the marina are all within walking distance. Prices are lower than in Marbella, and apartments are easy to rent out – both to holiday guests and long-term tenants.
